The results are in after a representative from a leading insurance provider tagged along for a field visit to analyze our working practices.
“There were no new critical recommendations at this time,” the company said after the audit.
The purpose was to provide Safety and Loss Control service. The provider, which is represented by more than 2,000 independent agencies nationwide, recorded a number of positive observations, including a “very safety-minded and experienced project manager” (Jeff Delawder), a new hydraulic excavator, new lighting at our main facility and excellent CS and lockout/tagout protocols. The recent hiring of “an experienced Environmental, Health and Safety professional” (Jay Flynn) also received praise.
The company further noted “very good housekeeping” and improved lighting at A&D’s main facility. More high marks include utilizing Velocity EHS software to log safety observations, corrective actions and to document near-misses.
Thanks to Jeff, Jay, CEO Graeme Manning and the entire A&D team for making this such a successful endeavor!
